Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to tour packages booked with Safari Tours & Travels. Individual packages may list additional inclusions, exclusions and conditions, which apply alongside these terms.

Prices Include

• Night accommodation on a double-sharing basis at the hotels mentioned, or similar.
• Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner according to your selected meal plan.
• Pick-up by vehicle from the railway station or airport, sightseeing as given in the itinerary (one time only), and drop at the railway station or airport.

Prices Do Not Include

• Personal expenses such as coolie charges, pony, doli/kandi, ropeway, room heater, A/C charges, airport tax, mineral water, laundry, alcoholic beverages, guide/escort, entry fees for some palaces, tips, and any other items not specified above. These are borne by the passengers only.
• Train and air fares. Book your railway tickets yourself or through our railway agent — contact us for more information. Book air tickets early to get early-bird fares.
• Christmas and New Year supplement charges.
• Safari Tours & Travels will not be responsible if a flight or train is delayed or cancelled.

Complaints During the Tour

If you have any complaint about our services — hotel, vehicle, train, etc. — please inform our office immediately by phone so it can be resolved on the spot. No complaints or refunds can be entertained after returning to your home city.

Booking & Payment

• Confirm your booking by paying a deposit of 25% of the total package cost per person. If a higher class of train or air travel is required, the difference must also be paid in advance. Of this deposit, 15% is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• The balance must be paid 15 days before departure; payment by cheque is accepted up to 15 days before departure. If the balance is not paid by then, the booking is treated as cancelled and the deposit is not refunded.
• Please make cash or cheque deposits in the name of Safari Tours & Travels.
• Rates are fixed. Applicable taxes are extra.

Cancellations

Cancellations by you or by us are handled as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Travel Documents

Travellers are responsible for carrying valid identification and, for Nepal and Bhutan, any travel documents required for entry.

Acceptance

Safari Tours & Travels believes that tourists joining the tour programme have read all the rules and regulations, have accepted all of them, and agree to abide by them honestly and sincerely.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
